  Property is assessed as to condition and ownership as of this date.

• April 1st
  Deadline for filing self-reporting forms for business personal property.

• August 15 through September 15
  Tax roll open for public inspection for a 15 day period. The exact dates are published annually in all St. Tammany Parish newspapers.

  For the 2012 Tax Roll the dates are from August 30, 2012 to September 14, 2012.

• November 15th
  Louisiana Tax Commission certifies the Tax Roll by this date. Sheriff and Ex-officio Tax Collector mails tax notices shortly thereafter.

• December 31st
  Property taxes are due and payable by this date and become delinquent thereafter unless a time extension is granted by the Sheriff and Ex-officio Tax Collector.
