To the citizens of St. Tammany Parish:

I am so pleased to welcome 2013 and begin my duties as your new Assessor of St. Tammany Parish.

After much anticipation, I officially take office as Assessor January 1, 2013. I was honored to be elected by you, the citizens of St. Tammany, in November of 2011. A waiting period, mandated by state law, prohibited me from taking office until now.

As we begin this year, there is much to be done.

In the coming months, you will begin to see many new and exciting changes here at this office. One of which will be an all new, user-friendly and informative website to assist you. We are in the progress of designing it now and look forward to having it online and available to you soon. The website, as with many things in this office, is a work in progress. I ask that you please be patient as I work hard to evaluate and implement the necessary changes.

I look forward to providing you with fair, efficient and outstanding service here at the St. Tammany Parish Assessor's Office. I, my Chief Deputy Troy Dugas and my entire staff are here to assist you in any way we can.
